Kara Lyn Alexander
CHIROPRACTic intern
Meet Kara Alexander! Originally born in Charlottetown, Kara moved to Newfoundland at a young age, where she grew up playing a variety of sports. Knowing she ultimately wanted to help people, Kara combined her love of movement with health care and pursued a degree in Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. During shadowing of many different physical therapists, Kara had an “aha” moment after shadowing a chiropractor and she knew this is what she was meant to do! Kara is currently attending CMCC in Toronto where she has developed an even greater appreciation for rehabilitation and patient care! A true islander, who was dressed as a sack of potatoes for her first Halloween, Kara is super excited to return to PEI and get the opportunity to meet everyone. When Kara isn’t working with patients, she can be found hiking, trying to revive her struggling plants, reading or drinking a lot of coffee. Kara can’t wait to meet everyone and get back to her red dirt roots.
Kara will be completing her final clinical placement with Dr. Meg starting in January, 2023.
